Step by Step to Scheduling Scrimmages
Its real easy to schedule scrimmages online at iScrimmage.com. Whether you are already in the system or you are new, there are easy steps to scheduling games with teams in and out of the system.
The reason we use Google to sign in is for the cool tools Google offers as we build the site. Much more functionality is coming.
For those with a Profile already set up in Iscrimmage.com:
Sign in using your Google account
This will take you to your Dashboard
Click on "Schedule a Game". This takes you to the Games screen.
You now can select "Set Game Availability" or "Request Specific Game"
"Set Game Availability" is used when you are looking for an opponent to play on a specific date. This is seen by all other teams also looking for games. When selected, you fill in the Date, Time, a location and whether you want to play home, away or either. If you are playing away, you can fill in the distance you want to travel. Filling this in will be seen by teams within that radius from YOUR home field. Fill in as many days as you want. This was made so it is easy to put out a schedule without the hassle of calling teams and seeing if they are available to play.
TIP: Your home game is another team's away. There really is no need for coaches meetings trying to schedule games. If you post your home games, and search for away games (other teams home games) a schedule can be formed easily.
The system is set up to auto send all team players and parents emails and notifications of games beening scheduled, without the added hassle of making a separate group email. More on that in another Blog.
"Request Specific Game" is used when you want to play a specific team, whether they are in or out of the system. From the drop down box select the team you are interested in playing, on what date and tim Add a location. Click "Request Game" and an email will be sent to the team you want to play. You can follow up with a call if you so wish by selecting the team name from your Games screen.
Click "Can't Find your Team? Click here to invite them" when you can not find the team you want to play. Invite them to play you in our system. This way you can manage your team and communicate with your Parents and players easily.

Select "Scrimmages" from the Left menu
Select "Teams" from the Scrimmages Box
A Table of all team in the system at that time listed by age is available.
Just click on the team name to find out more about the team or contact the coach.

TIP: In the Google sign up page, Use your own email address to create an account. You DO NOT have to have a gmail account. Just click on "I prefer to use my current email address" and enter your address you want so you can monitor.
