Cannons Fall Classic Baseball Tournament

Coaches, Parents & Players,

Thank you all for participating in the Cannons Fall Classic Baseball Tournament and making the event a great success. Although fighting the Florida elements on Friday and Saturday, all games were completed and played hard in both the 14U and 10U divisions.

Congratulations to the winners of each division. In the 14U division, Miami Sting finished on top with a 9-4 win over the West Boynton Rays. Both Teams fought hard for the prize of being Champions. Miami Sting had fight through the Bracket with wins over Cannons, and then the #1 Seed Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs. Congratulations again to Miami Sting players and Coaches.

A great weekend for South Florida 10U baseball. Games were fought hard from each and every team who participated. These young players also fought weather and delays, but played hard in every game. Congratulations to Driftwood Knights for winning the crown of Champion. They had a win with a 14-4 victory. We would also like to acknowledge the Runner-up PLO Bulldogs players and Coaches on fighting to the very end. The Bulldogs played and worked hard in each preceding game to make it to the Championship game. The Bulldogs had to fight off a tenacious Miramar Canes with a 10-6 victory to make the last game. The Driftwood Knights fought off the ever scrappy, Sunrise Sharks to get through to the last game.

Congratulations to the Players and Coaches of the Driftwood Knights with them being crowned 10U Champions.

We also would like to mention a Miramar Canes’ player #13 Noah Chance who is reported to have broken his leg while playing against the Cannons in a Bracket game. Heal fast buddy, and hope you are back on the field soon.

iScrimmage.com would like to thank the Cannons Baseball Academy Coaches Tyler Wheeler and Nick James on hosting the tournament and using iScrimmage.com to do so. We want to also acknowledge the umpires for calling the games. I would also like to thank all the Coaches, Players and Parents for participating, because without you, this would not happen.

Thank you.
